Overview
The Learning Journey is designed to give learners a clear, structured view of their progress and what’s coming next. Whether they’re starting fresh or picking up where they left off, every element is there to guide them through their activities in order.
At the very top, learners will see:
-
Journey image with either a Start Learning Journey or Continue Learning Journey button beneath it.
-
Journey status (if progress has been made or has been completed) and creation date.
Below that:
-
The title and description of the journey.
Sections and Activities
All sections display on the page so learners can see the full journey ahead. Each section contains its assigned activities, and:
-
Completed activities appear faded with COMPLETED text.
-
If sections must be completed in order, locked activities appear faded with a message prompting learners to finish the previous section first.
Table of Contents
The Table of Contents appears both on the Learning Journey page and on each content page accessed from within the learning journey:
-
Lists each section in order.
-
Shows a tick icon for completed sections.
-
Displays a progress pie for sections in progress.
Content Pages
A content page that is accessed from within a learning journey will display slightly differently from the regular content page.
As mentioned, the learning journey table of contents will display on the content page. Above the table of contents, learners also see a Next in [Learning Journey Name] tile, showing what’s up next.
Additionally, inside each completed content, a Next button appears so they can move directly to the following task.
Learning Journey Completion
When a learner finishes the final activity in a Learning Journey, a celebratory modal appears to confirm they’ve completed the journey. This modal only displays when the last activity is completed from within the Learning Journey itself.
