Overview
Events in Thirst are a fantastic way to organise learning sessions, workshops, and other interactive activities. Creating an event in Thirst is easy. Follow the steps below to get started.
Create Your Event
Select the +
icon, just like you would for other content types, to begin creating a new event. Give your event a name and set the date and time.
Add Details and Publish
Add an image and description to your event, and add some relevant skills. Don't forget to publish your event so others can see it.
Like other content, you can manage which users and groups can see this content, as well as manage the completion rules for the event.
Invite Users
Once your event is set up, select the Invite icon on your event to invite other people.
Select the users you want to invite from the list or by searching for their names. You can also search for any groups you would like to invite, to invite people in bulk.

Creating and managing events in Thirst is easy and helps keep your learning sessions organised and engaging. Follow these steps to set up events, invite participants, and share insights post-event.
- Plan Ahead: Schedule events in advance to ensure maximum participation and give attendees time to prepare.
- Engage Participants: Use the invitation feature to keep participants informed and engaged before the event. Use the Upcoming Events dashboard row, so that users can see what events they have coming up soon.
