Learn how content sources in thirst work, and how you can import content to your organisation
Overview
Thirst offers a wide range of content sources that can be configured to import content automatically into your platform.
By integrating these content sources, you can enrich Thirst with diverse and up-to-date materials, enhancing the learning experience for your users.
Managing Content Sources
You can view which content sources are configured for your organisation by going to Administration > Content Sources.
This also allows you to see a list of the other content sources that can be configured. To configure additional content sources for your organisation, please reach out to our support team.
Content Import
Once content sources are configured and activated, Thirst will handle the import process automatically and will do an initial import to get all existing content from the providers you have chosen.
Thirst will periodically check the configured content sources for new materials and import them into your platform, along with an image and description from the content provider.
Once content has been added, you'll see these in your platform as a Course content type.
Completing Imported Content
Imported content can be completed and interacted with in the same way as other content in Thirst.
Select Open Course to start. Your progress will be tracked as you work through the content, and you'll see an indicator on the content to say whether it is in progress or completed.

- Encourage Engagement: Share and assign content to other users to increase engagement and help as many users to make use of the content as possible.
