What Are Skills in Thirst?
In Thirst, skills are the specific areas of expertise you can showcase to highlight your knowledge and abilities. They help define your professional profile and ensure you connect with the right people and opportunities. Skills can range from technical proficiencies and industry knowledge to soft skills and niche areas of expertise.
Subscription Tiers and Skills
Important: Organisations subscribed to the Core tier will have limited access to custom skills. This means users in Core-tier organisations can only select skills from the pre-defined list provided by Thirst. Custom skills can be added only by organisations on higher subscription tiers.
How to Add Skills to Your Profile
To add skills to your profile, start by going to your profile, by selecting your avatar in the top right of the page and selecting My Profile
.
Browse the list of available skills, or search for a specific skill by typing in the search box.
Once you have found the skill you're looking for selecting whether you are Working Towards
, or have Achieved
the skill, by checking the relevant box.
Note for Core-tier users: If the skill you’re searching for is not available, it might require upgrading to a higher subscription tier to access custom skills.
