Our AI tool, powered by OpenAI, is designed to assist you in creating and refining text-based content on our learning platform. This guide will walk you through the essential steps to harness the power of AI in Thirst.
Enable AI in Thirst
To begin using AI in Thirst, an administrator needs to activate it in your account settings.
To do this, go to Administration > Organisation Settings, and find the OpenAI API Key field. Add your API key for OpenAI here.
Once this is done, you will have full access to its features, allowing you to integrate AI capabilities seamlessly into your content creation workflow.
Writing New Content with AI
Start by going to a content description, or comment.
Highlight an area of text, and select Ask AI. Provide a brief description or prompt about your topic, and the AI will generate content based on your input.
You can then add the generated content to your description or comment.
This feature is especially useful for brainstorming ideas, drafting initial text, or overcoming creative blocks. You can then iterate on the AI-generated text to better match your voice and goals.
Improving Content with AI
For refining and polishing your existing content, highlight some text that you have already written.
Select Ask AI again, and then try selecting one of the suggested prompts, or write your own custom prompt.
The AI will highlight areas for improvement, suggest rephrasing, and offer alternative phrasing to enhance readability. Review these suggestions carefully and incorporate them as needed to elevate the quality of your content.
